Sad Dunedin Day

Had to have a photo of Dunedin Railway Station as the news for workers at Hillside Engineering Workshops here in Dunedin was all bad.
Kiwi Rail proposes to cut up to 70 jobs from its nationwide engineering and design operations with the Dunedin outfit hit hardest with the loss of 40 jobs.
Kiwi rail bosses said it was a commercial decision to buy foreign built (China) locomotives,wagons, and containers which were critical to improving the business.
As usual all about money with little regard for the workers!
