Barber Arts Group Summer Ball, 1940s War-time Brit

After much organising and haste, the bunting was strung, the tables were adorned with sweet pea flowers, vintage plates, granny smiths and murray mints. Our hair was curled, our lips were red. Both men and women were formally clad; much pimms was drunk and a merry time was had by all.
