In Glasgow today for a 'Talking Mats' training course.

Talking Mats is a low tech communication framework involving sets of symbols. It was originally developed by The AAC (Alternative and Augmetative Communication) Research Unit to support people with communication impairment.They can be used with children and adults of any age with a range of communication difficulties. For example: Children, Adolescents, People with a learning or certain physical disabilities, people who have had a stroke, people with dementia as well as vulnerable people.
