The Rain in Spain
This has got to be the wettest, dreichest, coldest day in June for a long, long time here in Barcelona. Bb and I had some bank stuff to do, so were forced to don our anoraks, normally used in colder climes, and braved the torrential rain. Bank stuff done, we sought shelter in this upstairs cafe, just above Diagonal. And this is where we've been for the last hour or so and where we took a call from Spanish friends, cancelling our plans for tonight. We'd been planning to meet up on a square in the barrio of Gracia and enjoy the atmosphere and the summer evening heat. Ha ha! This is the view from one of the cafe windows.
