Cheeky Monkey

William is very clingy at the moment. Crying when I leave his sight, proper tears this morning when I left him at the Nursery door. But when he is happy he is very happy and very cheeky, as you can see.

Carys had a friend from Nursery round to play this afternoon. The easiet afternoon ever as the girls played upstairs, dressed up as Sleeping Beauty and a flamenco dress, having a tea party and then playing outside on the playframe. Not an cross word or minutes agro the whole afternoon.

William meanwhile initially wanted to play with them, which I felt was asking for trouble, so we played in the conservatory with the Happyland and the shape sorter. this was taken during this time.

We took A back to her Mummy and came home for tea. Daddy was home by then so helped at teatime which made life much easier. Both went to bed really easily. William has a new Ladybird light projector. It projects coloured stars on to the ceiling and is supposed to mesmerise the child and they fall asleep. Well I'm not counting chickens but it worked really well tonight. The real test will come later when he wakes in the night.
