a lily of some kind?

ventured out into the rain to take this. I think it only rained once all day (apart from a brief and very localised shower at Cameron's school this afternoon) but it was when I was about to go for a cycle and take a photo of a flower in the garden. So I took the photo but haven't bothered with the cycle. The road is too wet.

PS. (added after my father's rude comment) the road will also be very greasy (usually is after a heavy shower on an otherwise dry day) and I don't want to risk falling off as I'm running in a marathon relay on Sunday.
