A summer evening
Today's blip is actually a little deceiving. It was a beautiful day, that is not it ... by looking at the photo one might think that I spend a lot of time outdoors enjoying a wonderful summer day. Unfortunately I was stuck inside all day long working in order to finish a project on time. The only time I really left the flat was in the evening to buy some bread.
I took my camera along just in case and obviously because I hadn't taken a single photo the whole day. On the way to the supermarket I noticed how lovely the evening sun light was. Next to the shop there was this wheat field which on its own is not all that spectacular. Only there was a lot of camomile growing and the smell was absolutely divine. it had such a soothing effect on me while I was crawling around trying for a good angle on the blossoms that this short moment alone was well worth the trip to buy bread :)
I chose this blip instead of all those other shots I took as I just loved the light and atmosphere of it. It may not be perfect by all means. As I grew up in an area where there where and still are a lot of fields though, this kind of light and wheat field speak quintessential summer to me.
