Uptown

Back-blip Saturday - very minimal computer time yesterday, half of it accidental and half of it on purpose. On purpose because in the evening I was determined for machinery to be shut down and my feet to be up on my sofa whilst I had a beer or two and some snacks whilst watching a recent DVD purchase. Saw this film on release and thought it was just lovely, a repeat viewing has reinforced this view.

Was mostly listening to classic reggae today, Don Lett's compilation Dread Meets Punk Rockers Uptown, a smattering of tunes that Letts used to spin for the punks down at The Roxy Club in the 70s. All the cuts are choice, but this is perhaps the choicest.
