slim pickings today in the photo department...a huge weekend in progress....Antipodean Queens Birthday long weekend....lots and lots of extra people in town....all relishing the cold crisp air....who could deny that.....
This is one branch of a banksia (Banksia Cunninghamii)....Thanks to the El Ninya and the extra rain the past few years,the wild flowers are prolific,and this one is almost a freak....
As you can imagine the native birds (especially wattle birds and honey eaters LOVE them),but I didn't have time to catch them in motion....another shot,another day.
