Hever Castle Fountain

Rather than wait for the photographer and subject to move away I included them in the shot. Most of the image was quite monotone, so I thought it would work well in B/W. Then realised that there were a couple of colour splashes that could add.

I'm doing the Digital Photography course with the OU (T189). For this I spent the day at Hever Castle. It was bright sunny and there were lots of people there. Its a great place to take photos, but I was dissappointed not to be able to take them in the castle itself. Nonetheless, the events of the Bank Holiday were enough to give me plenty of subjects.

Not sure what this style of photography is called, but it's my favourite.
