Green Godzilla!

Went on a 2 hour Nature Ramble today which eventually lasted 4 hours because we found so many interesting things!
This was one grasshopper who didn't mind me placing my camera a few inches from his face to get this shot!
Other things I took photos of included a red dragonfly, a young cricket, a star fungi, reeds, skipper butterfly, a pretty spiders web in a circle of grass and a newly discovered type of seaweed! I was really spoilt for choice on which to blip but if you want to see the rest they are in my Walks folder.

At low tide we walked out on the Hamble Spit where I picked up several shells and another very interesting item. I may blip them later when I have done some research on the mystery item!
