Whoops!

Broke my favourite and most expensive lens today - full story here. But at least managed to get a few decent shots before that happened. And the insurance will pay. Unfortunately, because it's repairable, I'm not getting a new one and will have to wait at least 6 weeks to get this on back.

After the torrential rain (the two dogs and I were absolutely soaked by the time we got home ) the sun came out and the rest of the day was gorgeous. I walked into town to consult the guy in the camera shop, and bought a couple of biggish frames from him with a view to putting some of my photos in them. Worked on the computer a bit, then had a sleep, supper, then out for a walk in the wondrful evening sunshine. At the end of the day called in to say a final goodbye to Ian and Rachel who are leaving tomorrow. Sad.
