Rain, Rain, Go Away.

It rained practically all morning so the puddle outside the charity shop was forming in its usual place, right over the pedestrian crossing.

The cause is obvious, the tarmac is too low and the water doesn't drain to the gulley next to it and, at its worst, pedestrians have to wade or jump across.

The Council were informed many months ago but clearly it is not considered high priority . Perhaps when a Councillor is soaked by a passing bus splashing through or they get their best shoes ruined they might acknowledge the problem.
