If They Move to Quick (Way O Way)
Young girls today? I just don't know.
Tall, slim, beautiful clothes, long flowing locks.... and then the shoes.
We were out tonight. I had my flatties on, because I knew the chances of me walking home were great.
A thoroughly enjoyable night had at the TVC Awards Ceremony; Even claiming an award myself, for "Supporter, Score Keeper, Driver, Sometime Photographer, and alround TVC Groupie". Maybe one day, I'll even play a game?
Tooli and Boy were both in attendance - Boy were mortal after 3 pints. A year in USA has done nothing for his tolerance to alcohol. Si checked the Tooli situation and discovered her brother was buying her alcohol!!
At 11.30 we decided to head on up the road. Tooli thought it would be a brilliant idea to walk home. In six inch heels? I think not.
Walking home through the town at midnight means not making eye contact with anyone within 50 yards of you. We did a lot of road crossing to avoid people moving between pubs.
I stopped to watch a fight between two auld geezers... which was highly entertaining, and was reprimanded by said Tooli.
With her father and I holding her upright on either side, we made it to the Kebab shop where neither Tooli nor I actually wanted something so we headed towards the beach, where Tooli felt, she would be able to remove her shoes.
This photo was taken after she had walked a mile and a half in her bare feet along the shore path. By this time her feet were really cold, and what you see here, is Tooli, tying the shoe laces of her Dad's shoes. Yes, Daddy took his shoes off, and let Tooli wear them the rest of the way home while he walked in wet socks.
The love of a parent knows no bounds.
please note that I felt under no obligation to remove my shoes. i told her she couldn't walk in them.
