Wet Sunday

Today we are set to go to friends' house-warming party. The weather is set to be rain all day. Hmm, I think I'd rather be tackling this lot...


Yesterday's trip to Em's degree show was hilarious. Part of what she had done for her final project of 'distaste' was to make cushions in the shape of letters, which she then photographed friends holding in public places spelling very rude words.

The cushions themselves had been displayed badly so there was I with safety pins, picture hooks, nails and hammer, re-positioning them in a more prominent place, spelling a very rude word. Dad to the rescue!


** OK nature lovers, here's a weird one. I just went outside and found not one, not two, but three dead baby birds in different places on the decking, which is nowhere near any trees. They don't look eaten in any way. Explanations please... **
