Cinnyris talatala (White-bellied sunbird)

I back blipped for yesterday, please peep in, it shows Lillian's handiwork!

R snr rescued him this morning, he just sat on the street when R drove towards him on his way to the supermarket. R stopped and picked him up, he looked quite poorly and R thought he was hurt. He brought him home and C&R jnr brought it to my room. C fetched a syringe, ready to start the process of rescuing a little bird once more, but hey, what a surprise when it flew out of R jnr's hand and seemed quite capable!!

He is such a beauty, I blipped one just over a year ago and I wished to be able to get closer to it, now just look at this!! What more can one ask for!!?
