villages with lanes and yards -

Full of flowers, laid with cobblestones and picture perfect. You can forget how pretty it all is when you are lucky enough to see it everyday. My family though, visiting from Texas and New Zealand are amazed by it all. In fact they are amazed by everything - how old the buildings are, the endless history we are surrounded with and how lush and green the countryside is.

Oh that 'green', the green that comes in summer because of the endless rain? That they are welcome to take home with them!
