BABE Rally Day 5

This is our office - outside in the glorious heat of New Orleans. Well, today it was. Yesterday it was the Talladega Raceway, and the previous day it was the fabulous driving roads in Tennessee and North Carolina (we would kill to own something in the Appalachians in North Carolina).

Today was the last day of BABE Rally 2011 and a wonderful couple, Scott and Laura won it. They played hard, they competed hard, and they were willing to sacrifice it all on the last day by helping Two Horsemen of the Carpocalypse. The only reason they actually left the final parking lot was the Two Horsemen pleading with them to leave and compete to the end for the win. (We have it on video!)

A very well deserved win.

This picture was taken just outside the great new bar that my wife found on Royal Street in the Quarter a few months ago whilst she was out researching various things for BABE Rally. Maybe a little small if BABE Rally gets bigger next year, but we'll figure something out that works at that bar. The bar was called the Checkered Parrot, which repeated quickly 3 times, will leave you saying "Checkered Pecker".
