Close Knit Community.

It was the Leith Festival Gala Day yesterday. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too bright but more than 6,000 knitted squares had been wrapped around 20 trees in Leith Links to brighten things up a bit.

This park bench normally hosts the local "jakies" wrapped round it so I was quite surprised to still see the scarf there today although they had left evidence of the "phenomenal can of ginger"!

I'm just concerned that judging by Tippi's attraction to the smell of it that other local male dogs may have been cocking a leg, although I'm sure the bench doesn't mind too much as it finally has some appropriate clothing for this Scottish Summer!
