Hand Over the Lute!

A couple of years ago I found "10 Easy Lute Pieces" in a second-hand book shop in Hay-On-Wye. Whim took me, as it sometimes does on these occasions.
A short while later I treated myself to the cheapest lute I could find & set about trying to learn a few tunes.
My progress has been, I think I can say without contradiction, glacial. I'm insufficiently disciplined to set myself regular practice times, but as today's weather was so poor, I thought I might see if I could remember what little I had learned. But since the last time I opened the case a string had broken.
I took this to be a sign, snapped a photo, put the instrument back in it's case & watched the MotoGP instead.
