London Bridge station was full of police in anticipation of the Millwall game later this afternoon.

I approached this guy to ask him if I could take his picture and his dog decided he didn't like the look of me and went a bit wild.

I usually get along with dogs but this one was very scary. It bared its teeth, barked loudly and was lunging ferociously. It took all the guys strength to keep him in check and he couldn't hear what I was asking him and likewise I couldn't hear what he was saying to me over the barking.

Eventually the dog calmed down and he let me take a picture.

Needless to say all the other police in the station found this to be a most hilarious and entertaining break from their boring day of herding drunken rowdies, and I've got a new-found respect for police dogs and an appreciation of my own mortality!
