In the navy

A better day weather-wise for the Leith Festival so we ventured out on a walking tour of historic Leith. Really interesting and showed us Leith in a very different light.

We were shown this new monument in memory of those who lost their lives while serving in the Merchant Navy. It was unveiled last November outside the Malmaison Hotel. I liked these little bronze figures which ring the monument.
