Shelter

Was set the task to photograph buildings for photography homework this week.

'Brilliant' I thought as the lovely man and I intended heading to Witley Court today - one of my favourite places, a magical ruin and perfect for this task...

Until the torrential rain happened.

It was cold. It was wet. It was miserable.

Lovely man and I braved the weather as long as we could but it was horrible. Plus my lens kept getting soaked.
So we took refuge in the only bit left with a roof.

Took this while we were sheltering - you can see lovely man hiding from the wind in the corner.

At least we were able to laugh about it :)
