Pony Camp!

Jade started her first day at 'Pony Camp' today. Well, they call it Pony Camp but actually there's no camping at all! It's bascially 5 straight days Monday to Friday 8.45a.m. - 3.00p.m. learning everything about horses and ponies!

She gets to ride for one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. She learns how to look after and keep ponies and also has theory lessons on different aspects of horsemanship, todays theory lesson was on the parts of the saddle. They also have something special happen during the week ... this time they've got an international show jumper coming in to give them a demonstration. He'll be jumping 1 metre 50 cm!
