Bon appetit Mr Heron...

Some days you go looking for a shot and dont find what you want... but you get something just as good instead. This was one of those days. Didnt find what I wanted down by the lake but I did find this guy eating the rewards of a fishing trip and also discovered that the lake actually contains quite large turtles... Not exactly giants but shell at least 18 inches wide. I was rather surprised... didnt think we had those locally... unless it a pet that has been released?
