Sun UP..

Went for a jog today with my sister at the park.. after two rounds of jogging we ended up taking pictures haha!

Life, like water
Flows undisrupted
Until a stone is cast
Causing it to ripple
Giving new direction to the flow
Creating waves
More grand in consequence than in size
Powerful enough to cripple
Even the strongest of strong men
Forcing their submission
To harshness of day
With promises of calm nights
Never making good on those promises
Uses them instead as
Bargaining tools against the weak
Well aware of the impossible feat
Of adhering to its demands
It flows
Like raging rapids
Abusing everything in its path
Neglectful of itself
And of its duty to preserve
It flows
Sometimes serenely
Considerate of all that is in its sphere
A true contradiction to its own existence
For beneath its rippling surface
There is peace
And in that, you'll find tranquility
