Marina, Man, Machine & Muscle
Early morning jog was cancelled because of drizzle. Looked like it's gonna ruin the Jet Ski plan too. But as the clock kept ticking it started getting warmer so went to Beaver Lake for Jet Ski.
@ 7620 RPM SEA DOO gives the ultimate thrill on top of water.
They say "4 Wheeler Moves the Body, 2 Wheeler Moves the Soul"
I would like to add 'SEA DOO just takes your breath Away".
Initially there was a bit of fear driving this high speed bike, Later was not ready to drive any lesser than full throttle. Also in the beginning was driving far far away from those BIG SPEED BOATS to avoid the large waves they create on their back (large waves shake the Ski wildly). After an hour got bored of just speed, time to experiment.. FULL THROTTLE and started moving towards a SPEED BOAT such that as soon as SPEED BOAT crossed a particular point I reached at exactly 90" angle (perpendicular to direction of SPEED Boat), You won't believe but hit the big waves so hard that @ 7400 RPM, jet ski jumped almost 10 feet above the water and a big splash of water drenched me all. AAAAHHHHHHHHH Ultimate .. after this ultimate thrill, Chasing the SPEED BOATs and jumping the Ski was only fun...
It's not that easy to move this machine straight on water, you loose control at such high speed and be thrown away in the lake. It needs lot of muscle to balance, keep it up & straight. I didn't fall at all; Don't believe me ? All the other members can tell the truth :). They all were smelling FISH at the end.
Reason Last Year in my Bike Class learnt counter weight balancing to prevent the bike fall, used the same technique to make sure SEA DOO doesn't flip on water. "Got the Concept right".
Video Here......
Don't ask me in what all circumstances I shot this video, almost 3 times I felt its just gone in the water but STRAPS saved it. "No Risk No Gain".
** Risks:
-- There are no Lanes on the water, No traffic sign or Cop to control the traffic, No Indicators to turn, No Speed limit & Everyone is in very high speed. A single mistake and disaster is awaiting.
-- You can't go near to 50 feet of shore, engine will suck the MUD.
-- Don't go closer to the stopped boats, people might be swimming/fishing around it.
-- Keep checking the FUEL, You run out of gas, you gotta go back swimming.
** After finishing the Jet Ski saw this beautiful Boat going in the Lake so Captured it.
