Ieper (Belgium)

The Belgian town of Ieper was during the first World War "the eye of the hurricane". The town was completely destroyed. The reconstruction take more than fifty years.
Ieper is a beautiful city with a rich history where the first World War more than a prominent place is taking in history. More than a half million allied soldiers have died around Ieper.
