A Bridge Too Far

It' s bit of a gloomy day, again. So not such a good picture as I'd hoped, but this absurdly grand bridge on a side street in the West End of Glasgow always makes me smile.
Built by Victorian property speculators, I think, I imagine they envisaged a neighbourhood of sweeping Parisian-style boulevards. The reality is somewhat more prosaic. One side of the river is pretty posh, but the other isn't.
