A day at a time....

Hens and Chickens

If I've identified it right that's the common name! Why is beyond me.

Otherwise known as sempervivum tectorum, a succulent. However in the book the picture is of a smaller plant. This one is tall with loads of these balls of leaves.

Whatever it is, it's pretty impressive, another gifted plant from Antonia!

I took loads of photos today before I chose this one. It was a toss up whether it would be this one or a very simple one of the ridge of a tiled roof and a vast, deep blue sky. Came down on the side of this one as I didn't want folk getting jealous of the glorious, very warm day we've had today.
