Rule of thumb

This has been hurting for days. I reckon it will be lost in time if I don't Blip it ;)

I was emptying my Gaggia before the water had cooled on the coffee. Boiling water streamed down onto my thumb.

First it seemed okay, then it started to blister. Then it burst (enjoying this?)

Now it is heeling but as is the case with these sort of things every motion I make with my right hand (leave it) seems to find the pain spot.

Moan over.

Ps you think that was grim. Go and search where the expression 'rule of thumb' comes from.
