Feeding time

Lovely day today after the torrential downpours yesterday.

The birds have nearly finished all the food off over the last few days, it doesn't take long to disappear.

I'm gradually identifying all the different birds in the garden, but I'd overlooked these brown birds (there are a couple of them) as they looked quite plain compared to some of the others. But when I looked at them a bit more closely, they have got nice glossy feathers and pretty markings. I think they might be young starlings but I'm not at all sure - no doubt one of my expert friends can let me know! ;o)
