Jacobite Express.

This morning we drove smartly to Glenfinnan to gain a vantage piont to capture the Jacobite Steam Express crossing the spectacular viaduct, behind as i took this shot is Loch Shiel with it monument to the jacobite up rising( shown in the titles of 'Country Wise' on ITV ). From there we travel the old road to the isles, finishing at the ferry port of Mallaig. Here lunch was taken, then a detour to the Ardnamurcan Peninsula where my family holidayed when i was a child, the back to the cottage via the Corran ferry for our evening meal.
