Progress
Having spared you photos of the progression of our household project for the last couple of weeks, here's the latest update. The new fire, hearth and surround were put in the other day, they're so, so lovely! The walls are now beautifully smooth, having been skimmed and we have lovely new skirting boards instead of the 52-year-old very battered skirting that was there before. We're really pleased with all the progress so far and we're now considering the colour to paint the walls. The intention is to have a feature colour on the chimney breast and a cream colour everywhere else. Who knew there were so many shades of cream?!
