Reason for my absence...

Not blipped for a few days...apologies, but my back blip should explain why.
Late Wednesday evening we received a call saying we could have J's operation the next day! After much rushed packing, and panicked phone calls we were on our way to the hospital.
The next 24 hours were a blur of extreme tiredness and emotions. Our baby boy was under the knife having the hole in his heart repaired. We didn't know if we'd done the right thing....then the call that he was in ICU and the rush to get to him and check all was fine.
His recovery has been miraculous beyond belief (well, for us anyway...probably normal for the medical fraternity!) It's now Monday evening and I'm sat with a glass of wine and a fixed baby!
I implore any of you with children to go and give them a hug and tell them how you love them with your entire heart and soul...even if they're asleep and you don't want to wake them.
There may not be many blips in the next few days....but no worries I'll be blipping like mad in no time!!!
