Bruising weather
I had a few minutes before meeting the boys off the school bus and a blip to fill. So I pulled over to see if I could get a pic of the pair of terns I think are nesting on this beach, or of the grey sky and the green sea.
I reckoned I didn't even need to get out of the car to do so. I could just wind down the window. I hit the electric gizmo switch, intending to crack the window open just enough to stick the camera out grab a couple of shots.
Instead, that clever electric window kept going... all the way down... whilst the wind threw a small loch full of water in my face.
By the time I managed to get the car water tight and wipe the water from mine and the camera's faces, there was no way I was going to try that again. However, as tends to be the case, the blip taken is the one that probably sums up the moment best.
