Break

Canterbury and I decided to get away this morning. We phoned a dog-friendly campsite to ask if they had room for us. They did. So, we packed up the van and headed off over to the West Coast. It's a favourite haunt of ours and this time we decided to take the kayaks.

The weather behaved perfectly and this shot was taken after tea. Typically, we missed sunset, this was her encore. I prefered the soft colours to the pinks that came before but next time we must try to make the 'actual' sunset. This bird put on a show for us each time a wave burst over the rock it was perching on.
