The Things I Do......

......to get a photo!

I noticed on the morning school run that the grass cutting men were out trimming back the verges which means that alot of the poppies get mown down also :( I spotted these ones in the corner of a wheat/barley/something field on the afternoon school run so had to stop to get some pics.

For this shot, I'm half in a hole which was at the edge of the field, with muddy, grass stained knees and a dusty backside from perching on the edge of said hole. It sounds more dramatic than it probably was, as the hole wasn't deep at all, just enough to make me fall over and no doubt, give the lorry drivers driving past a bit of a chuckle!

No pain, no gain right?! LOL
