Down by the riverside (again)
Not the riverside of the many nightclubs near the railway station, but the one down by the art college. Had one of my 'deep and meaningful' mooching lunchtimes thinking that whilst it's good to reflect, and to be in the moment, it's also important to look to the future. Even though that future may be uncertain.
So, if I were to be really arty-farty, thinky-winky about this I would say that 'the reflections in the water in this capture represent the past whilst the strong metal of the railing pointing into the distance represent the artist looking to the future. They both appear to bear equal weight. A balanced perspective on life at the moment'
Arty farty, me? Nah .....
