Our feathered friends....

....are not easy to photograph. I'm amazed how some people on blip can take very good photo's of birds many times over. Tonight I thought my luck was in when some colourful finches landed on my very bright flowers. I guess they were eating the green fly. They were flying high by the time I put the long lens on my camera. This jays feather is the next best thing!
