dull day

well, not exactly dull as the wave of warm air which suddenly arrived today at lunchtime makes life a lot more pleasant.
I stopped on the car to take this picture although was not properly prepared for the shot and the day was far from ideal for taking it. I just saw the construction activities starting around this building - one of "Soviet Gothic" buildings. I know many people describe these buildings (there are 7 of them built in the 50s in Moscow) as intimidating and dominating over personality, but I like them. the reason I stopped the car was that I felt the sight of these buildings makes the day look not so dull (there are two buildings in sight, big one - the hotel, smaller one in the left bottom corner - foreign office building). But then in the recent wave of construction in Moscow there have been so many needle-topped buildings constructed. Location for this one is so ideal, like it. hope they do not destroy the exterior (as they will certainly destroy the interior) by rebuilding.
