Strimmer update....

Mr OE,
Went to local D.I.Y store to pick up some new cutting sticks for the strimmer you very kindly donated to us, but was horrified to see the £4 price tag on them!
Being as tight as a ducks a*se, i decided to go home and see if i could come up with a cheaper solution.
They say the simplest ideas are always the best, so i just cut a length of standard strimmer wire (99p for 5m's!) tied a knot in the middle to stop it flying out and hey presto, works perfectly!
Genius!
Hope the painkillers are doing the job?
