Beautiful Soup

I don't seem to do much with spinach except make soup, it's popular with the troops. This time it was made with stock from a boiled bacon joint and the tops of some onions that had started to sprout - such a pretty colour and very tasty.

I've been very busy in the garden, the last of the plants I bought last Wednesday went in today, the border was planted up yesterday; one or two aren't in the best condition but if they survive it'll be a bonus. The main thing is that it all looks more promising than bare earth.
