Beach at sundown

The last rays of the sun were shining on the beach taverna.The shadows are not as clear as they seemed.

Today was a public holiday for the locals, although we still had to work. As I came home at lunchtime, there were hundreds of cars and people there. By 6pm, when I took this, the wind had started to blow and it was quite cold for here!

Thinking about all of you who are enjoying(?) a winter break! We could use some of it here as our water supplies are perilously low and the government are already talking about water rationing!
