Pathway

Last night we went back to the quirky little cinema. I wish they'd been showing a 1920s silent movie instead of the tosh that was Xmen! Still, it was nice to see the guy run past us in our seats wheeling the reel of film.

The final day of the Lakes. We packed up, checked out and headed for Grasmere for more gingerbread(!) then decided to visit Keswick on the way back to Edinburgh.

The photo was taken in Grasmere at the daffodil garden. The locals wanted to look after a plot of land but had no funding so decided to pave a walkway round it with stones bought by visitors / locals. There's hundred of them and they look really attractive. I found one for Darlington, my hometown.
