Last Day Of Freshman Year
It went by so fast...
So, two hundred and eighty-one days ago, I started my blipping adventure to document my high school experience. I think I've come a long way since then, both as a photographer and a person. I've learned a lot this year and I hope that I continue learning, through high school and beyond.
So, today was pretty extremely interesting.
Homeroom: Bagels from Ms. C (thanks!) and picture with Jas. I'm going to miss her a whole lot next year :(
1st Period: Me and Avery were told to stand in the hallway and eat our bagels because food isn't allowed in the gym but then we were yelled at by a mean gym teacher to get back in the gym. Oh the irony. Then I took a picture with Dymond and some freshmen.
2nd Period: In science I charged one Gameboy while I played the other...don't judge.
3rd Period: I took a bunch of pictures with seniors and other friends. Langer tried to fix my brother's hair...
4th Period: Victorian Tea Party in English! We ate cucumber sandwiches and drank iced tea. Then me, Kaitlin, and Lindsey chilled in Cahill's office for the second half of the period. The dean almost made me pee my pants when he came into the office but all he asked was if Ms. Cahill knew we were in there and we said yes so he said "Carry on".
5th Period: We tried to review in math but ended up just goofing around.
6th Period: Me, Alyssa, Lindsey, Avery, and Kaitlin ate lunch in Cahill's office and watched more Miss Congeniality with Kate and Elaina.
7th Period: I finished my Anne Hathaway portrait in art! I'm probably going to blip it soon.
8th Period: Went to Cahill's office instead of Italian and played Bananagrams with seniors and company. I met the math department head. It's good to have friends in high places.
9th Period: Same as 8th but missing global. (100% on my final!!!)
After school: A lot of crying seniors and a Rube Goldberg party. We took a lot of pictures and ate a lot of food. We all signed each other's photo books from Michigan. It was fun but so sad. Audrey really seemed to be hit with the whole "last day of school ever for the seniors" thing and the "time is fleeting" concept. I've been thinking about it all year...I'M GOING TO MISS THEM ALL SO MUCH!!!
