Wonderful skulls

Dave - who has really wonderful skulls and tendons and stuff tattooed down his arm - is busy fixing my half-landing.

It has a hole in it where daughter #2 plummetted from the top of the stairs, head first. She landed head first too, and all. In fact that hole was made with her head.

As the ambulance took her away in a spinal brace the hole was surrounded by tutting paramedics - all saying

"Shoddy workmanship these modern houses have - would never have happened with your old floor-boards."

Thank goodness!

PS She was fine. Phew
