First Day of Summer Vacation..

Its the first official day of Summer Vacation and of course it's raining! I managed to go out earlier in the morning and take this picture before the rain hit. So depressing, I feel sorry for the kiddos.

We have a busy day ahead of us and it's one of those days where I wish I could stay in bed. Too much stress in my day already. We're leaving town tomorrow and I still have all the shopping, packing, cleaning etc to do. In addition to that Im struggling with my emotions over a "friend" of my older sons who has been treating him poorly lately. I know it's all part of life but my son struggles enough with self confidence. This "friend" on numerous occassions has told my son he "sucks at baseball and shouldn't play anymore" and that he "shouldnt play basketball since he never makes a basket". I shall add that neither of these comments are true and clearly this other little boy has an issue with his ego being far too big for his own skills. Anyway, it's weighing heavily on me as are the latest set of repairs to our SUV. Too many things are making today difficult. If the sun came out it may help.

I had to post this on the run and did it from my iphone. It may be too fuzzy so I'll possibly repost from my computer when I get back home later today
