And then it rained!

What a crazy day in school today!!!
The day got off to a great start as a tiny chick had fallen from its nest onto the school yard and sadly died.So myself and another member of staff had to remove the little body discretely so that the 40 or so children who were also on the yard did not see as we couldn't cope with 40 tearful children!!!!
Then years 3 and 4 totally forgot the moves to their Thriller dance routine which they are performing in 2 weeks time and years 2 and 3 PE session got washed out with a huge rain storm!!!!
Anyway i drove home watching the sky turn dark grey but ever hopeful that i would make it home before it rained......... no such luck!!!!
