My car was in for repairs today which is part of the reason we have a shot of the dashboard. The other more important reason was that when I got home at round about 10 o'clock I still hadn't taken any photos. We went to look at a house tonight, there may be developments afoot. Watch this space.

While I'm mentioning car repairs I feel like a bit of rant about how some places seem set to rip you off. A couple of weeks ago I discovered I had a bash to the front of my car, no idea as to the cause. I took it a long to a handy main dealer for a quote on the repairs, they wanted the best part of £900 to repair the bash and to get rid of three small unrelated scratches on the drivers door. To say I was unimpressed!!

However a friendly little neighbourhood bodyshop has just done the job today, the price - £100. Cash, of course.
